How to Install Wordpress on Godaddy

by Kemila Velan

I’ve been hosting all my web sites on Godaddy.com for the past four years. It’s relatively easy to install all kinds of content management systems, once you know where to find the area inside their impossible to navigate web site. I think it’s a clusterf-ck on purpose so that you end up buying a bunch of services you don’t need and aren’t as useful as all the free PHP-based apps available out there like Joomla, Wordpress and OpenX.

I could continue this article with a few screenshots and some directions on how to install these apps on a Godaddy server. But I’ve decided not to because I’ve moved my sites to a much better, friendly, easier-to-navigate server that will install Wordpress or any other content management system to your server with one click of a mouse: Hostwire.com.
